Ranakpur is known for its breathtaking Jain temples. The Chaumukha temple here is one of the main attractions of the R anakpur region. It is dedicated to Adinatha, the first Tirthankara of Jainism. The name Chaumukha means four-faced and is aptly derived from the four-faced statue of Adinatha, which is visible from every corner of the temple.
Ranakpur is synonymous with the white marble that adorns its temples. The details on the pillars, domes and arches showcase the craftsmanship of the artists who carved these structures.
