The city of Marrakech, the starting and ending point of our MT 007 Spectre motorcycle tour through Morocco, embodies the political and economic heart of the southern region. On our first day, we will thoroughly explore the beauty and diversity of this city before embarking on an adventurous journey across Morocco.

This motorcycle tour takes us through the royal cities, the Sahara, and the High and Middle Atlas mountains, which offer sensational mountain ranges with spectacular roads and breathtaking landscapes. We travel on both paved roads and gravel paths through all climate zones and vegetation levels of Morocco.

The art of dyeing has been an essential part of Moroccan culture and economy for centuries. Traditional methods, often based on plant dyes, are still practiced in some regions today. From the vibrant colors of the carpets to the magnificent garments and textiles made for festivals and ceremonies, dyeing plays a significant role in Moroccan craftsmanship.

A highlight of the tour is riding along the edge of the Sahara Desert. Participants will have the chance to ride camels over the "Meckermann Dune," briefly experiencing the feel of mass tourism. Few things are as amusing, embarrassing, and worthless as this vacation experience. We leave the comfort zone behind and enjoy a desert night in the "1000 Star Hotel" of the Sahara, under the impressive night sky, with a glass of wine by the campfire.

The Spectre Bike Tour should not be confused with the James Bond film "Spectre," but it is just as spectacular and can be experienced live with the MT007 as a rental machine. The motorcycle tour through Morocco is designed to offer an exclusive and "spectral" experience. The motorcycle tour group will have the opportunity to "experience" Morocco off the beaten paths and discover lesser-known places. The motorcycle stages include both on-road and light off-road routes, offering a varied riding experience for motorcycle enthusiasts.

The African morning sun rises over the slowly awakening bazaar, the muezzin calls to prayer, and the smell of spices and fresh flatbread wafts through the open window—we wake up in the oriental flair of one of Morocco's four royal cities. After a hearty breakfast, we tour through Morocco's spectacular and varied landscape, from the High Atlas to the dunes of Erg Chebbi. The journey goes through surprisingly green cedar forests, over the pleasantly cool Atlas mountains, along the steep cliffs of the Todra and Dades gorges, and down to the south to the breathtaking dunes of Erg Chebbi.

The MT007 Spectre Tour is a mix of the Yamaha MT-07, built for adventure, and Spectre, a nod to the film settings in Morocco with historical backgrounds of the land and its people. Each travel day is a scene from one of the famous filming locations in Morocco. On this motorcycle tour, we also visit the locations of the legendary James Bond film and other well-known film sets like the film studios in Morocco. From the majestic Stairway to Heaven to the deep south, our motorcycle journey traverses Morocco. We pay special attention to spectacular motorcycle stages and carefully select accommodations that stand out for their unique location and architecture, not their star rating. The daily stages range from 200 to 400 kilometers, and we also plan a rest day by the pool to relax. Our route takes us through the salt routes and old nomadic trails of Morocco, from north to south, from south to east, and from east back to the north.

You can experience this motorcycle tour with your own bike or a rental machine from OVERCROSS. If you want to feel the African wind on your own motorcycle, we will transport your bike to Morocco. Affordable flight connections bring us to the starting and ending point of our tour: Marrakech. You can ride through Morocco’s streets on your own motorcycle or on a rental bike. If you want to feel the African wind on your face while riding your own motorcycle, we’ll transport your bike to Morocco for you.
