Tour description of the motorcycle adventure through Africa:

In Benin, the cradle of the Voodoo religion, the Trans Equator Expedition starts in the capital Porto-Novo, where our motorcycle expedition begins. After receiving the motorcycles, checking the equipment, and a tour briefing, we head off towards the border with Nigeria. Upon arriving in Nigeria, notorious for its high crime rate, we travel through dense rainforests, sandy plains, and bustling cities. The most exciting part of our Enduro expedition through Africa lies ahead. After leaving the metropolis of Lagos, we ride through fertile farmlands, dense rainforests, and picturesque riverbanks until we reach Ugep. We then cross the border into authoritarian Cameroon, where our motorcycle journey continues. With constant views of the turquoise sea and golden beaches, we ride along the coast of Cameroon until we reach Kribi. Over rough tracks, we ride our motorcycles through the rainforest until we reach Ebolowa. We traverse Gabon on unpaved roads via Kango, Mouila, and Dolisie, known for its vast parks and natural landscapes. In the border town of Dolisie, we cross into the Republic of Congo. We continue to Brazzaville, located right on the Congo River, and then cross another border into the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). In Africa's third-largest city with 17 million inhabitants, Kinshasa, we settle in for the night.

Through hilly terrain and picturesque rural areas, our motorcycle adventure leads us over Inkisi to Angola. We continue the motorcycle journey through beautiful coastal landscapes, past lonely beaches and fishing villages until we reach Luanda, the capital of Angola. The stage goal is accomplished, and we can explore Luanda, the vibrant coastal city with its cultural attractions and colonial architecture.

We leave Luanda with its fascinating blend of African and Portuguese culture and ride further on a breathtaking coastal road towards Lobito. We continue our motorcycle journey through Africa into the highlands of Angola with its green hills and fascinating rock formations. We visit the "Tundavala Gap," a stunning viewpoint belonging to the Serra de Leba. From up here, we have a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.
Through the impressive beauty of the Angolan savannah, we head towards Namibia.

After crossing the border, we stop near the Etosha National Park, one of Africa's most renowned wildlife reserves. A game drive in Etosha National Park is a must, and we set off to observe elephants, giraffes, lions, and other animal species up close. Namibia's capital, Windhoek, offers a great mix of African and German culture, and we find an almost European street scene here. This is where the "vacation" on the motorcycle expedition begins. We ride through the Namib-Naukluft National Park, home to some of the most beautiful desert landscapes, such as the highest sand dunes in the world, the Sossusvlei sand dunes.

We leave the desert behind and continue our motorcycle tour through Keetmanshoop with its granite formations to Neilsersdrift in South Africa.
Beyond the last border of our motorcycle expedition, a picturesque landscape awaits us along the Orange River.

At the end of this journey, we finally reach the southernmost point of Africa at Cape Agulhas. Here, the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean meet, and we enjoy the breathtaking view and celebrate with champagne that we dared this expedition and passed its challenges. The last kilometers lead us to one of the most beautiful cities in the world, where we park our motorcycles at a campground to have them shipped back to Europe. After exploring Cape Town, we look forward to our return flight to Europe, and an exciting motorcycle expedition comes to an end.
